JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible to take care of both Design as well as Design & Programming Department.
2. Must understand customer needs and requirements through design briefs. The response time to customer should not be more than 24 hrs.
3. Responsible for TAT of design / drawing it should be released within 48 hrs of OA confirmation by marketing, in turn no backlog for more than 2 days.
4. Take care to verify all the designs / drawings before release to ensure zero error.
5. Timely PO & Drawing of Ring and Plunger set must be sent to the vendor within 48 hrs of OA confirmed by marketing.
6. To ensure 100% & accurate data must be enter in ERP with the drawing release.
7. Ensure the report of Design & programming department should be shared on timely basis and on allotted dates.
8. To maintain a productivity tracker of design on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis and to share the same with Director.
9. To coordinate with internal departments to sort out all the internal queries and to facilitate work.
10. Daily work tracker / report should be shared with Director and HR with mentioning TAT, pendency and running job.
11. Initiate a day with morning meeting to engage team and divide tasks accordingly.
12. Maintain a record of unused raw-material cutting and take a step forward to re-use or utilize the same in other product.
13. Ensure all the drawing books should be updated with index and drawing details.
14. Must maintain all the record of client code wise design for smooth working.
15. Arrange or work as a filler in replacement of any absenteeism in your department and ensure that the work should not be hampered.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Should be capable enough to work under pressure.
• Must have good hands on Auto CAD and / or Top Solid.
• Manpower Handling and Mapping experience is must.
• Capable enough to follow the deadlines / TAT’s.

QUALIFICATION

Completed B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Graduate (in any stream)

Total Experience in same domain min 10 years or +
